A Simple Solution to a Simple Problem

Back in the 1840’s Doctors Wendell-Holmes and Semmelweis, finally proved that infection and disease were being spread by the unwashed hands of medical colleagues, and simply washing hands well between patients visits, reduced the risks of cross infection dramatically. 

Yet, here we are at the turn of the twenty first century and touch-transferred infections still present a major health problem throughout the world.

Applying a layer of invisible microscopic UV particles onto the hands, poor hand washing technique can be highlighted by making these non-toxic germ-like particles glow brightly under a UV CheckPoint Lamp. Areas of skin that were not washed properly glow bright green, whereas areas that were washed properly, do not.  This simple, yet highly effective test forms the basis of the Wash & Glow hand washing training system.
